UTBox and CeBIT Australia 2011

UTBox is pleased to announce working with the team at Hannover Fairs as a media partner for the CeBIT 2011 Business IT conference.

CeBIT is the leading business event in the Asia Pacific region for business related ICT. With a keen emphasis on a high quality business visitors and strengthening international commercial links it offers both a well represented and varied trade show as well as exclusive and interesting satellite events.

UTBox provided communication services with the most visible being a SMS send out to all CeBIT participants before the 2011 conference to invite them to register. The opening morning another send out was performed to participants to remind them the conference was open. This was repeated to let people know to register for tickets and attend with an overwhelmingly positive response.

UTBox did not have a stand this year as we were well and truly busy with upgrades and improvement projects. We did however attend the Official Opening Ceremony and Innovation Nation Cocktail Function which was addressed by a high level foreign delegation from Germany. At the ceremony German Deputy Chancellor and Foreign Minister Dr Guido Westerwelle opened the ceremony along with Australian Foreign Minister The Hon. Kevin Rudd, Lord Mayor of Hannover Stephan Weil and NSW Deputy Premier The Hon. Andrew Stoner. The theme of innovation was presented against the backdrop of the Vivid Sydney festival and the many artistic light related pieces and displays being shown on the Circular Quay foreshore.

As usual we hope those who attended CeBIT and enjoyed the experience and will return next year. As always we’ll be inviting our customers to attend the show with our free promotional code for the 2012 show which is scheduled to be held 22-24 May 2012.
