New "Stop Broadcast" feature allows for more control
Based on feedback from our customers UTBox has introduced a new feature to the UTBox Member Centre for broadcasting.
In the rare event the broadcast is underway and it needs to be stopped, this new feature will allow those who have a critical and urgent need to force the stop of the broadcast.
UTBox continues to strongly recommend that customers clearly look at the broadcast preview screen and treat this as a final commitment to send prior to initiating a broadcast. Of course we understand that in critical situations the customer may choose to end the broadcast regardless of any other factors however this should not be taken lightly and we ask all care and caution is taken when queuing broadcasts.
The resources used in queuing (and/or merging) have been consumed prior to the actual sending, especially in the case of merge broadcasts. Because of this even if the stop broadcast feature is triggered the usual fees for the broadcast typically apply.
