Broadcast report errors explained
Broadcast report error codes are available within a broadcast report. Please keep in mind certain conditions may actually constitute more than one error however the error reported will be dependant on the stage of the connection process which failed.
For example if a number fails because it was an invalid number, while it technically results in no carrier the error displayed will be more likely number unobtainable as that is checked before a carrier is attempted to be found.
| Report Error | Error Information |
|---|---|
|
Carrier established, but Phase A failure Negotiation failed |
The number answered however no fax connection signal was detected. This is often caused by the number not being used for fax (i.e. a voice only number.) Check this number by calling it with a normal phone. It may be a line used only for voice. |
|
