UTBox supports Earth Hour 2009
UTBox is committed to a sustainable future and is proud to support and take part in Earth Hour 2009.
As part of this commitment we also would like to encourage our customers and members of the community to turn off their lights for 1 hour at 8:30pm their local time on Saturday the 28th of March.
Earth Hour 2009 aims to reach more than 1 billion people to show they care and "vote for earth" by participating. This symbolic but important action will demonstrate to global leaders how many individuals and organisations support the need to fight climate change. These results will be presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009 which is intended to start the dialogue which will go on to replace the Kyoto Protocol.
Be part of this historic event. UTBox will be powering down it's office and support systems as well as turning off all the lights. All business critical systems and redundant services will not be affected.
