SMS reply number
You are able to change the SMS reply-to field for the SMS you send through UTBox, meaning the recipient can see a different number or a word.
The most common uses for this are:
- entering your own mobile number so those replying to your SMS respond directly to your mobile, and
- entering a word value to promote your brand or company.
To change this simply login to the UTBox Member Centre.
The UTBox Member Centre is accessible from http://www.utbox.net by entering your username and password and clicking LOGIN on the top right hand side of the web page.
- Once logged in click on Preferences on the top menu bar.
- Click SMS Options
- Select the email address for which you would like the change preferences for.
- Enter in your mobile number or a text string. No + is required for the mobile number but it should be in international format (i.e. 61414123534)
But keep in mind if you want to receive replies you should put your mobile phone number!
